This land in Turkmenistan has an unlimited reserve of methane gas.
According to sources, 35 years ago, geologists engaged in excavation work in this area in order to obtain gas, became very profound and caused the methane gas to rise to the surface.
Geologists left the area without even taking their equipment.After these events, they decided to burn the reserves so that methane gas would not poison people in the area.The reserve has been constantly burning ever since.
